Dr. Cagatay Sezgin is a Turkish Board certified General Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in Hair Transplantation and Restoration. He is a member of the prestigious International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and the Asian Association of Hair-Transplant Surgeons (AAHRS), and is the first Turkish Board Surgeon to be accredited by both organizations. Dr. Sezgin has performed over 3000 hair transplant surgeries using the FUE technique, and is the first surgeon in the world to perform hair, eyebrow, and beard transplantations in a single case in a single session. This case report was published in the ISHRS Forum Magazine in 2019, and was named the "HEAD TRICK OPERATION". Dr. Sezgin is also a mentor, organizing training seminars and workshops, and has trained many doctors from around the world. He was recently invited to organize and participate as an operating faculty and moderator of the ISHRS World Live Surgery Workshop in Dubai in 2018. In addition, he has been asked to contribute to the upcoming edition of the Hair Transplant Textbook, edited by Dr. Walter P Unger, and to participate as a faculty member for the ISHRS Basic Course at the annual ISHRS meeting in Bangkok in 2019. He is also a member of the FUE Advancement Committee of the ISHRS. Dr. Sezgin has attended and participated in many workshops and conferences, and has expertise in training courses for doctors, nurses, and HT technicians. He specializes in FUE and FUT hair transplantation, beard and mustache transplantation, eyebrow transplantation, hair loss therapies, hair loss diagnosis and follow-ups, body to scalp transplantations, hair line design and restoration, corrective hair transplantation, and hair transplantation on scarring and non-scarring alopecia, alopecia areata, and burned areas.
