M.Omer Gorduysus is a Professor of Endodontics with over 20 years of experience in the field. He graduated from Hacettepe University with a degree in Dental Surgery and completed his post-graduate program in Endodontics at the University of Southern California with the support of the Turkish government. He later earned his PhD in Endodontics from Hacettepe University and received a scholarship from the Dutch government to study at the ACTA in Amsterdam. Dr. Gorduysus has been involved in research and has published many articles in SCI-covered journals and other local and international publications. In 2014, he became a Professor and Head of the Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics program at the University of Sharjah, where he is also the Coordinator and Director of the Dental Biomaterials and Biomimetics Research Group. In addition to giving lectures and serving on the editorial boards of scientific journals, he is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Association for Dental Research, the FDI World Dental Federation, the Turkish Endodontic Association, the European Society of Endodontology, and the International Federation of Dental Educators and Associations. Dr. Gorduysus is licensed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in the United Arab Emirates as a specialist in Endodontics.
