Sena Uyanik obtained a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Yeditepe University in Turkey in 2013. She also holds a master's certification in Manual Therapy and Clinical Exercise Strategies, which she obtained in 2015.
After graduation, Sena worked in various rehabilitation centers, focusing on pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic rehabilitation. She also took clinical and modified Pilates courses by the end of 2015. Since 2017, she has been working as a manual therapist and Pilates coach in musculoskeletal rehabilitation in Turkey.
Sena has a particular interest in sports injuries and has worked with elite tennis players at the International Federation of Tennis Tournaments and at the ENKA Sports Club in Istanbul, Turkey. She is skilled in a range of therapies, including sports injury rehabilitation, post-op rehabilitation, manual therapy, spinal manipulation and mobilization techniques, myofascial trigger point and proprioceptive therapy, and muscle energy techniques, postural therapeutics, and strengthening exercises. She is also a certified Clinical Pilates instructor, with advanced training in MAT Pilates and modified Pilates, as well as sensory integration therapy.
